OBS!! 24th - 28thnov  Our Motivator and Encouraging Instructor Bernard  On the way to our destinantion!  Crazy ! 15km ! 13 kg or more Bag we carrying  On the Highest hill in Pulau Ubin!  Feets in DHANABALAN!  Out in the forest after stucked for 2 hrs!  After climbing the highest hill in Pulau Ubin! Its On the 24th Nov 2008 .. The day for Outward Bound Singapore(OBS) Everybody was so enthuasiatic for the camp including me .. haha! Inside the bus to Punggol .. WOW! That bapok really bring a BIG BAG! ahah .. it was the heaviest among the 32 of us .. PIANG EHK! Mr Koh follow us to Punggol .. It was a 30 min ride .. Reached there, there were 25 school .. I think about 200 students altogether. It's our luck to grouped up with Boon Lay Sec.. For the first time i saw them, their mouth cannot keep quiet serious siak.. But i was in Group 20 (DHANABALAN) Reached at Pulau Ubin .. i was the chosen to go up and have a game with the instructor .. Chialak sia! In front of 200 students .. But nevermind.. i was brave enough chey2.. hehe.. On the first day of the camp, we must chose a team leader .. Guess wad?! The group chose me .. haha .. maybe i was hyper duper active on tat time .. hehe .. atleast they want to chose me .. hehe .. Our first activity was the Trust Jump .. we all must holdon to a kind of cloth but it was plastic .. i was afraid tat it will koyak anytime .. hehe .. u noe laa mie.. heavy .. k .. next game was to go to our stall .. We must pack our bag .. We must transfer our belongings to the camp bag.. Fuck sia ! The bag stinks laa what !! Ouhk la .. we pack our bag for 1h 30 min .. Then we go eat lucnh .. what ah our lunch .. alamak i forgot ! nvm .. den we learn how to picth a tent .. it was the first time in my life sia pitching a tent .. Eventually .. i was quite good in that .. hehe .. then we must cook for dinner .. we cook ourownself .. wow! we cook rice adn some sausagges .. hehe.. den bath then time to sleep .. The next day wake upa t 5.45 am .. Pitch out the tent then we must get our body wash up before doing our morning PT(Physical Training) Den we go for our breakfst ..we eat mee hoon .. den we go do the Belaying.. was quite fun though is not easy to remember the step .. practice will make perfect .. Then we go on woth the next activity .. KAYAKING .. WOOHOO!! Put in my tights and long pants and shades and life jacket .. we first learn the safety .. we learns capsized then we learn rescue .. was quite difficult .. but everybody must have a try .. Musya was sitting alone while watching us playing .. pity for her .. den we start to play capsized .. fun .. it's was like 3 hrs we play .. hehe .. but seriously the current flows was strong .. Den we got out of the water and bath and get ready for the next activity .. we must walk through the jungle and make it to Macho by 6.30 .. Eventually we were late because we lest Camp1 around 6.45 pm.. we must walk to the jungle .. hill and water .. really sian. mosqitoes biting here.. but too bad i never get bitten ..ehhe .. we walk atleast 45 min we we saw camp two .. i thought we were supposed to stopped there and havew a rest but no! wth! we continue trekking till we reached Macho .. by then its wad arnd 8++ was dark and only Bernard and i have torchlight . he took care in front and i too care of the back .. really it was devastating .. Dark .. and scarry .. hehe .. At last we reached Macho at ard 9 .15pm ..we were all lethargic like what .. we all put down our bags and we were supposed to cook our dinner .. we cook maggi mee .. really SedapPP.. hehe .. den we not supposed to bath .. we were all stinks .. but nvm ..we sleep we nvr smell anytink .. we woke up at 5.30 and we must get ready our lifejacket adn must have eat pur breakfast by 7.15 ... but we were all late .. we supposed to start our Sea Expedition by 8 .. we start at 8.15 .. nvm .. we try our best .. Eva partner with me .. she was quite good in kayaking .. .. we were stucked int he forest about 5 hrs .. then we saw the sea.. then it took another 3 hrs to go back our camp 2 .. really chialak .. 3 times we nearly capsized.. but nahh.. it nvr happpen.. then it rains in the middle of the sea .. wow .. really sia .. the current really pushing us to the shore really difficult ... we were cutting thorugh the current flow .. haiz.. we reached our destination on time .. 8hrs of kayaking.. ttell u really fun but tiring .. we got up and we put bak the kayak and we start bathing .. den we . have our dinner.. den ..after dinner we have a briefing on the trekking for the next day .. me and aria .. will be the leader for the next day activity .. Then we went to sleep .. Really Not our luck sia that night .. it rains heavilly and our tent were all wet .. and we were sleeping in puddles of water .. really .. i den shift my self up adn sleep at the shelter till the nex murning .. woke up at 7.30 and have our brkfast and we start our treking .. really tiring .. 15km .. On our first checkpiont .. we were lost .. then we managed to founf the checkpoint .. den we get to got out of the forest .. we havr the time to relax.. but it was only for 20 min den i lead the way to the higest hill of Pulau ubin .. really tiring .. but we managed to took some pic .. the water is really amazing .. it was clear blue .. then we walkdown to the hut and we relax .. we decided to give up .. haha .. then we must reached camp1 before 7.15 and my watch was showing 5.45.. we really run sia .. wen we reached at camp 2 it was 6.45.. really .. we must get camp 1 before 7.15 .. but Dhanabalan wad still strong and haven give up .. we strive thorugh and we managed to readched camp 1 at 7.05 pm .. wahh .. everybody was so tired.. we are excused to do night activity .. ehhe .. wow.. shiok .. dat night our dinner was black paper chicken drumstick .. eheh.. really took alot .. eheh .. den we bath .. sat down and have a chit chat with out intrusctor .. he is really motivator for us .. it was the lst nite we spent with him ..den we went to sleep .. the next murning is the time for us to go home .. and it s the day of separation between boon lay sec and kent ridge .. and not to forget Bernard .. i was quite sad because i don't have the chance to say goodbye to him .. i think he is busy so ..it ok .. then .. we took our boat back to punggol and went bCK SCHOOL .. Everybody was asleep in the bus .. Reached skool and went to 7 Eleven to buy Coca COla vanila.. woo .. nice .. went home and sleep .. zzz .. *Perserverence prevails when all else fails* |
